Three of my grandchildren are visiting me for five days (after I was with them at their home for three days). Nine year old Nora and I found some time to craft in my studio yesterday while her brothers were elsewhere. We chose the hot-out-of-my-mailbox July Paper Pumpkin to assemble. It was really perfect for her to successfully put together. Bling, sparkle, and shine—the July 2016 What a Gem kit includes eight pretty and polished treat boxes in two sizes that you can personalize with gem-toned tassels and mini cards. What a fun way to brighten someone’s day!
Nora will be giving two of her gems to friends from school whom she’ll probably be seeing today. Inside: why chocolate of course!
You get a You Tube video guide for assembling the various kits and this one helped us quite a bit to get the ‘visual’ on how to assemble the two styles of gem boxes. You can check it out here for a clue. The kits comes with everything you need: photopolymer stamps, an appropriately colored ink cube (this one was Emerald Envy), ribbon, card stock and an instruction folder. It’s great to check out the monthly video though to help put all those pieces together.
