Making three cards from one piece o 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (DSP) was a fun and fulfilling challenge that I met last night.

I did go a bit ‘rogue’ with the DSP by adding little “squirly” circles around each circle. You’ll see them on my finished card. The DSP originally looked like this:

For starters, select your piece of 6″ x 6″ DSP. Cut one 2″ strip from this piece. Cut off 1-1/4″ from one narrow end. Cut the remaining 4″ x 6″ piece at 3″…..leaving you with TWO pieces 4″ x 3″.

Supplies

- Berry Burst card stock: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ card base; 2-1/4″ x 5″ layer; 2-1/4″ x 1-1/2″ greeting layer
- Bubble Bath card stock: 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer;
- Basic White Card stock: 2″ x 1-1/4″ greeting; 5-1/4″ x 4″ inside card layer
- DSP: 2″ x 4-3/4″ vertical layer;
- Instructions:
- Emboss Bubble Bath layer using Cut & Emboss Machine and Exposed Brick Embossing Folder
- Attach embossed layer to card front using “green glue” (Multipurpose Liquid Glue)
- Attach DSP layer to Berry Burst 2-1/4 x 5″ layer; adhere to card front
- I scribbled “loop-d-loop” design around each circle on the DSP with a black pen.
- Stamp greeting on 2″ x 1-1/4″ Basic White card stock using Berry Burst Classic Ink; adhere to Berry Burst layer—attach both layers (duh) to card front using Dimensionals.
- Use bling as desired.

- Lost Lagoon card stock: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ card base; 4-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ (DSP background layer; 1″ x 2-1/2″ (greeting background layer)
- Basic White card stock: 2-1/2″ x 1″ (greeting)
- DSP: 3″ x 4″
- Instructions:
- Emboss Basic White layer using Cut & Emboss Machine and Exposed Brick Embossing Folder
- Attach embossed layer to card front using “green glue” (Multipurpose Liquid Glue)
- Attach DSP layer to Lost Lagoon 4-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ layer; adhere to card front
- Stamp greeting on 2-1/2″ x 1″ Basic White card stock using Lost Lagoon Classic Ink; adhere to Lost Lagoon layer—attach both layers (duh again) to card front using Dimensionals.

- Daffodil Delight card stock: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ card base; 5-1”4″ x 4″ background layer; 2-1/4″ x 1-3/4″ greeting background layer
- DSP Layer: 4″ x 3″ flipped over to reverse side of circles DSP layers
- Lemon Lolly card stock: 4-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ (DSP background layer
- Basic White card stock: 2″ x 1-1/2″ (greeting)
- Instructions:
- Emboss Lemon Lolly layer using Cut & Emboss Machine and Exposed Brick Embossing Folder >> I FORGOT!!!
- Attach ’embossed’ layer (the one I forgot to emboss) to card front using “green glue” (Multipurpose Liquid Glue)
- Attach DSP layer to Daffodil Delight 4-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ layer; adhere to card front
- Stamp greeting on 2″ x 1-1/2″ Basic White card stock using Pecan Pie Classic Ink; also stamp the design image–stampin it off one after inking on a piece of scrap paper and adhere to Daffodil Delight layer—attach both layers (duh one more) to card front using Dimensionals.
