How often have you had the inspiration to make a Happy Birthday Happy Birthday Happy Anniversary card? Along with many others, I was invited to a very special and FUN celebration of his and her birthdays (80th!) and their anniversary (60th). The bonus was that most of the invitees were from the neighborhood we grew up in–many since birth, me since 7th grade, in Oakland, California. Talk about a reunion! That “little 10 year old Eddie” is now over six feet tall with whiskers! The celebrants grew up with one house between their family homes.
Below are the beginning steps for the card I made for Marilynn and Rick, the celebrants. 1/2″ strips of various random colors, various Happy Birthday or Happy Anniversary greetings and a paper trimmer.
