Hand Stamped Designer Paper

Today I’m sharing the hand stamped designer paper I created while playing along with a Monday Mystery Stamping Challenge and today my chosen tools were the Sending Stamp set and various classic stamp pads which I used to create my own hand stamped Designer Paper. I had no idea where I was going with the design or the card!

I was actually quite pleased with the outcome. What do you think? I began with the largest flower, randomly stamping it using Calypso Coral Classic Ink. Next came the ‘half’ flower and Poppy Parade Classic Ink. Finally came the smallest flower image stamped using Melon Mambo Classic Ink. The sleeker leaf was stamped using Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink and finally (almost) the bushier stem of leaves was stamped using Old Olive Classic Ink. Later I followed up stamping all of the flower centers using Daffodil Delight Classic Ink topped with a splash of Wink of Stella.

Die Cutting the “Sending” Pieces

To make the die cut Sending” and its background layer stand out, I die cut several strips of Old Olive card stock using a die from the Sending Dies set and mounted them on the card front using good old ‘green glue’, formally known as Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I glued the Old Olive script ‘sending’ to the background Basic White layer using my Fine Tip Glue Pen and then mounted those pieces using Dimensionals.

Using VersaMark ink I stamped the ‘Love & Big Hugs‘ greeting (also from the Sending Smiles Stamp Set) on the smaller die cut piece from the Sending Dies. I covered the stamped words with White Emboss Powder (I think mine needs to be replaced since it doesn’t melt down very well) and heat set the words with my Embossing Tool.
