You can pronounce or interpret Sweet Heart whichever way you want: a Sweetheart card for your sweetie or a sweet card with a garden-y heart focus! Both work. Once again it was fun to see how stampers interpreted my assembly “instructions” which certainly aren’t offered as a test. They’re offered as suggestions or options or just encouragement of what to do with those ‘strange bits of paper’.

For my two sample cards I used the Just a note greeting from the retired (in 2021) Posted for You stamp set and the HELLO greeting from the new Heart Shaped stamp set. This set can be found in the current Sale-a-Bration (S-A-B) brochure and is ‘free’ along with coordinating dies, with a $120 purchase. You can see this S-A-B brochure by clicking on the Current Catalog(s) tab just above this post. And you can also ask me to send you one along with the brand new January-April 2025 Mini Catalog. Send me a text (Blythe@StampingWithBlythe.com) or leave a comment below this post. By the way, the striped layer on the front of the card is found in the Season of Green & Gold 12″ x 12″ DSP.
Supplies providedI place the same card parts and pieces in each stamper’s project envelope. This class was held at Potter Wines in Garden City, Idaho–right next to Boise. It just tickles me how brand new class attendees, as well as returnees, feel free and comfortable in creating their own version of the sample card by just manipulating their supplies. I can’t tell you who made which card but I can admire their individuality.

The ‘birds on branches’ image came from the Posted for You stamp set which is found in the 2020-2021 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. I bring extra stamp sets to my classes so participants can select a greeting that suits their card.

“I like you” is from the Flowing Flowers (retired) stamp set.

Sorry but I can’t locate the “Smile” stamp set as I’m preparing this post!

Stamping at Potter Wines is Such a Treat!
I get to lead 12 stampers (new and experienced) on the 2nd Sunday of every other month from 2-4 p.m. as they create/assemble two cards each. It’s so much fun as are all stamping gatherings. I provide the supplies from card stock to glue to “bling” and envelopes and ME for a $10 fee. Wine is up to the individual and is definitely not mandatory. It is quite good though! I look forward to our next Potter Wines stamping date on March 9th. Put it on you calendar if you’d like to join us. A reminder notice will go out a few weeks before the 9th of March.
Thank you so much for popping in today. Please leave a comment below if you’re looking for a specific project or technique. And don’t forget to make a card and then make someone’s day by sending it to them.
