This isn’t really stamping related but it is stamping related. When we returned from Washington DC in early November, we acquired a pair of kittens who had been abandoned (dumped) in a school yard in Pleasanton CA. My daughter knew we were ready for a new cat, preferably a related pair of kittens, and had told her workout partner about it. And we ended up with this darling pair of kittens. This is the photo they sent us while still in DC.
And now, they’re happily and crazily, full members of our household. I often work on my computer at a small desk in our great room. Kitties being kitties, they need to be with me whenever they can be, including being on my desk, lap, laptop. Needless to say I can’t accomplish anything when they are all over me and my tools. (They are NOT privy to my stamp room yet!)
This morning, while working on a post I had an ‘aha moment’: a box that would accommodate both of them with a soft fluffy pillow inside so they would be high enough to be able to peek out. (Trial and error taught me that one.) Now I ask you………how cute is this?
By the way, they are affectionately known as Fred and Ginger. 🙂
And now you know just one of the many reasons that my flow of concentration and achievement is less than optimum these days!
Oh,they are darling. And so comical, those sleeping positions. Cats do like boxes, don’t they? Congrats on your new additions.

Shirley–thanks for the comments on our funny pair. They got ‘fixed’ yesterday and contrary to what the vet indicated, they were not sleepy and calm last night. They were wired, like that kid who bounces off of walls from cough syrup. They are a fun addition to our household for sure. ~Blythe
