A few weeks ago I shared a fun tri-fold card that I looked forward to using for multiple events. You can check out that post here.
Today’s card is for a friend here in Mi Wuk Village. There’s a small group of us who go out to lunch or, this time, for afternoon tea, to celebrate our birthdays. This social opportunity gets us out together 5-6 times a year. I’m pretty sure this card will make my friend Cathy smile.
When I first made this card I did two in each of Stampin’ Up!’s 2017-2019 In Colors using the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack.
Now, when I need a card, I can stamp my sentiment on the little greeting layers piece, attach it to the card and have my card ready for mailing or hand-delivering. Although each one of these tri-fold (birthday) cards does take over half a sheet of 8-1/2″ x 11″ card stock, they’re totally worth it. My next goal is to use some alternate designer series papers for a totally different look.
You can get supplies for your tri-fold card on my Stampin’ Up! website here. Basically you’ll need a pack of Designer Series Paper of your choice and then a few sheets of coordinating card stock. If you look on the back of the DSP (Designer Series Paper pack or stack) you’ll see the coordinating colors listed right there. Sometimes having packages of Color Family Assortments on hand is the perfect way to be ready for the variety of colors used in our Designer Series Paper Packs. Each assortment has 2 sheets of each color in that group.
