I’m cleaning a few of my cupboards today, trying my best to part with some o-l-d Stampin’ Up! stamp sets that I’ve been holding onto for years. For example, Bon Voyage, item #9903. Does that tell you how o-l-d this set is?
Here are two cards that I made and had left in the stamp box for some reason — like to maybe share 17 years later??? I wonder where I got the confetti idea?
Kaleidacolor (TM) pads were in vogue, hot stuff. These pads had five 1/2″ x 1.5″ pads, next to each other, that pulled apart for storage (so the colors wouldn’t bleed into each other) and were pushed together for stamping. You can see that I made great use of ALL of the colors! Holy moly. I think I’ve learned that less is more since then.
Ultimately I’ll be parting with 80-90 stamp sets that I just had to keep after they retired from a Stampin’ Up! catalog. Many I have never touched again! Many I have used over and over. And I kept at least 60-70 sets, mostly sentiments but some relating to travel, sassy women, babies, mountain living, and more. I’ll be listing many of these stamp sets on my sidebar behind the Stamps 4 Sale (not Holiday 2016) button. Prices will be set to move them from my congested room to somewhere that they’ll be used. They’ll be listed in groups, hopefully by this coming weekend.
