A Little Note from Germany

I’m writing this little note from Germany as my hubby Russ and I are winding up our trip to France and Germany for a few weeks thanks to a friend’s ticket generosity. We’ll be heading back to Idaho on Saturday morning. Right now we’re in northern Germany, enjoying the hospitality of our former German exchange student (1987) who is now the head of a lovely family. Mom, Dad, cousins and friends are still right here in the area to hug and chat with. You can check out some of our activities on my FaceBook page. https://www.facebook.com/BlytheKlipple

(sorry! I can’t upload my photo)

In the meantime, back to business, the September Paper Pumpkin is going to be an autumn beauty. I think you might be able to order it before September 10th but (unfortunately) don’t hold me to that. I’m falling rather out of the loop while traveling around. So far the photo below is the only thing I’ve seen but I love it. Warm. Soft. Gentle.

This afternoon I’m going to be stamping with my host family: mom, Oma and three kids, all of whom are artistic. I brought the Halloween haunted house kit with me since I know they celebrate the event here. I brought two scrapbooking kits for the girls ages 21 and 18. Their 14 year old brother will also be joining in. Mom, Oma and I will be playing with the August Paper Pumpkin kit, Kindred Greetings. I brought it to work with on the plane or in airports while traveling. We had an 11 hour flight coming and will have another Saturday as we head back to Boise, ID. Each of those flights are following by 5 hour waits in the airport.

Back to Paper Pumpkin: If you aren’t already a subscriber may I suggest that you try it out. You never really know what’s coming in the next monthly kit but it’s always creative and sharable. I love sending the cards I put together and my recipients are equally excited to receive them. EVERYTHING you need is in the box.

Questions? Just send me an email at Blythe@StampingWithBlythe.com. And as I’ve stated in recent posts, I’m having a tough time with my blog host/page so until I get a chance to get it worked out there won’t be a lovely signature box–just a ‘see you next time’ message.

Auf weidersehen for now…….bis später. Stamping hugs from Blythe in Altenholz. September 3, 2026
