Well now, did that post title make you wonder? It’s the fault of the greetings in the Pretty Perennials stamp set. The happy word is in a large script font. The remaining words are in a snazzy uppercase font. These words offer us five separate greetings. This stamp set is a winner for offering so many floral images plus the variety of greetings.
Here are today’s tools:

We made this card in my Community Center class this past Thursday with lots of success. Ten properly spaced participants stamped one colored flower grouping at a time by passing each stamp and stamp pad around the room. First……
Then…..
And then…..
Followed by…..
Finally, use the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the larger rectangular Painted Labels die, to cut out the very center of the card layer. Set that die cut piece aside.
Attach the stamped layer to the card front (tip following) using eight Dimensionals, one in each corner and one on each side.
TIP: Score your card front layer using either a Stampin’ Trimmer or the Simply Scored Scoring Tool. When you fold your card front, fold away from the recessed scored line. I know, it’s seems counter-intuitive. But, the card stock will fold smoother and the fibers in the paper will lay nicer.
Add a few gems in the greeting area if you’d like. For my card today I used two images from the Quite Curvy stamp set for my daughter-in-law’s birthday card. An alternative would be to add that piece you die cut earlier to the inside of the card for a splash of color that really does coordinate with your card.
Finally, a pack of five cards, each with a different greeting, would make a lovely gift.
A quick reminder……..there are only seven more days of 2021’s Sale-a-Bration celebration. Don’t miss out on getting a FREEBIE or two from the Sale-a-Bration collection. This year’s event is one month shorter than in previous years so don’t get caught thinking you have more time. Check out the Sale-a-Bration brochure here.
You can check out items used for today’s post project by clicking on any image in the product group above or just go directly to my Stampin’ Up! store here. If you don’t have a demonstrator with whom you normally work and shop, I’d be delighted to have you choose me as your demo with the ‘most-est’. If you place an order and if it’s less than $150 please be sure to use February’s Host Code (you’ll see a box where you can insert it). I’ll send you a thank you gift at the end of the month. And….if your order grows to more than $150, you’ll earn rewards of your own to attach to your order.
Have a great week. If you happen to be in Texas, my heart goes out to you and I wish you the best just as quickly as possible. The rest of the nation — or the world for that matter — just keep on with those Covid protocols so you can remain healthy. One of these days we’ll see ‘normalcy’ again. I know……what’s normal??? Happy stamping.
PS. I’m working on updating sidebar images but they’re a huge learning curve for me. Please be patient and know that I know some images are way out of date. It’s embarrassing and frustrating.
