I’ve really enjoyed looking at cards made from the photopolymer Number of Years stamp set and finally sat down to use it myself–without any specific numbers. I wanted a nice card for my daughter-in-law’s birthday but not the one I sent to all other February birthday recipients. (Yes, I’m still having a grand old time with #imbringingbirthdaysback.)
I wanted a fresh breath-of-spring-like card but not one that was too ‘foofy’, too flowery, yet one that was carefully planned for Khris.
After finishing the stamping, I added Pearl Basic Jewels and Clear Wink of Stella to the flowers. It’s hard to notice the two strips of Clear Metallic Glitter Tape, near the Happy Birthday greeting, in the photo, but they do add a pop of pizzazz to the card front.
The inside greeting, sorry to say, is from a set from the 2001 Idea Book & Catalog, called Birthday Greetings. I always hold on to old greeting sets since you never know when they’ll come in handy!
Cutting Dimensions:
- Elegant Eggplant: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″ and folded
- Whisper White: 5-1/4″ x 4″: 2 pieces, 1 for inside, 1 for card front; 3″ x 4-3/8″ and 2-3/4″ x 4-3/16″
