ENVELOPE PUNCH BOARD Gift Card Holder

ARE YOU NEEDING A QUICK AND CUTE gift card holder?  Check this out:

Snowman Suit Gift Card
Measurements: 2-3/4″ x 2-1/4″, smallest envelope available on the Envelope Punch Board.

Here’s what you’ll need to put this cute little gift card envelope together:

5″ square piece of Real Red card stock.  Follow instructions for the first envelope–your first score and punch is at the 2″ mark.  I ran my envelope through the Big Shot using the Argyle Textured Embossing folder after punching it out but before making any folds.  You will have to fold a 3 of the tips of flaps over the embossing folder so it will fit through the Big Shot.  Worry not:  those bits are under the flaps and won’t show.

Use Sticky Strip to secure the flaps of the envelope.

The ‘belt’ is 9″ x 3/4″ Basic Black card stock, scored at 2-1/2″ and 6-1/4″.  Wrap it around the folded envelope and secure with Sticky Strip where the ends overlap, in the front.  As you can see, for my prototype, I used the Petite Curly Label punch.  Not as cute as the larger one.

Punch the buckle out of Silver Glimmer Paper using the Curly Label punch.  Using a Glue Dot, attach a 3/4″ by 1/2″ (approximate–just make sure the shape is a rectange) piece of Basic Black card stock to the Glimmer Paper.  Then attach the finished ‘buckle’ to the rest of the ‘belt’ with one or two Dimensionals.

Completing this card takes about 5 minutes!  Let your imagation go wild with other occasions and papers you could use for this quick and easy gift card holder.
