The new-blog-learning-curve monsters have finally been tackled. It has been months since I’ve been anywhere near comfortable preparing a post. Preparing photo images of my projects to preparing them for uploading to the blog and then working through all the other obstacles.
I’ve used a million excuses that have been keeping me from finally posting, like ‘gotta get Christmas put away first’ …..
…..and ‘need to reorganize the current and retired Stampin’ Up! products in my stampin’ space’
…..and ‘gotta create and address my January birthday cards first’ and of course, ‘gotta prep for my local classes in a timely manner’. Oops, one more, ‘the cat’s sleeping quietly on MY chair’.
All that being said, I have chosen a word to guide my path in 2023 and that word is motivation. I am motivating myself by tacking my fear of successfully formatting my images for my articles. Yes, that has been my stumbling block sad to say. Today I formatted 12-15 images from past weeks and will be sharing them in the next few days. I feel like I can now take a proud deep breath. It’s amazing the things that can stomp on our courage forward progress.
This new blog platform, initiated January 7, 2022, has not been released to my capabilities (fear of the new and unknown?) and now it is alive and well and on it’s way to you. No more excuses. No more fear. I’m stunned that I was truly so incapacitated for so long. Hopefully this new day of I CAN DO IT will motivate others as well. If I can do it then you can do it as well.
Quite a Few More Hurdles to Tackle
But, I guarantee that I’m working on them. My signature, my sidebar, my little category bits of what’s in “today’s post”. I still have LOTS of homework to do to get myself back on the blogging path I used to be on. Stick with me. 🙂
