MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF MY FAVORITE PEOPLE…….YOU!

CHRISTMAS WREATH

Below is one of my favorite Christmas cards.  And today, for the first time in years, this is what I see in my backyard:  fresh snow and sunshine.  Lovely and cold!

2004 2004 'kitchen' tree card 2004 closed My husband, Russ, 'manufactured' a jig for perfect placement of the window panes which utilized Stampin' Up!'s 1-1/4" square punch. The tree 'lives' outside of our kitchen window. It's probably grown 4-5 feet since this card photo and now interferes with our clothes line. It was destined to be cut down this year and brought inside but.........kitties have given it a reprieve! 2004 'kitchen' tree 2 open 2005 2005 snowy trees almost closed This card has an odd fold, landscape position, top fold about 1-1/2" and bottom fold 3-1/2". Then a 3" x 4" stamped piece was added to the top flap and lifted to view the inside. 2005 snowy trees open 200? 2008 2008 reindeer card I do believe this card was inspired by in infamous Jackie Topa, Queen of Punches! We got a LOT of positive comments on it! 2009 2009 snow scene embossed card
It is so much fun to capture our ‘back yard’ after fresh snow AND with some blue sky.

This was one of my first ventures into using My Digital Studio.  Yes, I miss it.  🙁

I wish you a day rich with family today and memories of years gone by.

Outside our kitchen window -- taken last night. Our little tree has really grown!
