The January – June 2022 Mini Catalog just went live on January 4th. As a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator I’ve had access to the catalog and the new products since December. One of my favorite new sets, because of its calmness I think, is called In the Moment.
I love the words in the set as well as the images.

For today’s card I accepted the challenge of combining two different Embossing Folders on one card. I chose the Painted Texture 3D and Tasteful Textile 3D folders.
The Soft Sea Foam card front measures 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and is scored at 4-1/4″, folded and burnished with the Bone Folder. That gives the card a nice crease. Also…..I always tell my in-person stampers, when creasing their card fronts, to “crush the mountain” — the scored line that pops ‘up’ — and fold away from the ‘divit’ or groove created when scoring. This process is easier on the fibers of the card stock.
The next layer, Basic White card stock, measures 5-1/4″ x 4″. Run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Embossing Machine using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder.
The stamped layer, also Basic White, measures 2-5/8″ x 4″. BEFORE running this layer through the Stampin’ Cut & Embossing Machine you’ll need to stamp the image using Memento Black ink and then color using various Stampin’ Blends: Petal Pink, Balmy Blue, Soft Sea Foam, Ivory and Cinnamon Cider. I also used Wink of Stella on each window pane. Also stamp your greeting, using Memento Black ink, in the lower right corner.
After coloring the image, run the stamped layer, using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Attach this layer to the previous layer using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
You might notice that I also ran my stamped image card stock piece through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine using the Stitched Rectangles dies, 4th from the largest and smallest die. It’s not a necessary step but does add a bit of pop.
