They’re each showing off one of their cards giving you a sneak peak of what they made on Thursday. We always meet on the third Thursday of the month, 1-3 p.m. And for the very modest fee of $3 we always make 2 great cards. Join us any time: no reservation or previous experience needed, all supplies provided. Just be prepared to have two hours of a good time!
Our first card this week was this one using the Grateful Bunch stamp set and coordinating Blossom Bunch punch.
Using a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Whisper White card stock, we scored all four sides with the Simply Scored Scoring Tool.
Turn the scored card stock over and stamp your leaves image (Old Olive Classic ink) on the side with the raised scored image. Then stamp the flowers using Watermelon Wonder classic ink. Sponge the centers using Sponge Daubers and Daffodil Delight classic ink for the two largest and the Daffodil Delight marker for the smallest flowers and then punch them out. It’s great that the Blossom Bunch punch is designed to punch all three images at once!
Attach your flowers with a dab of SNAIL adhesive, a Mini Glue Dot or a Stampin’ Dimensional. Perhaps pop up just one of the flowers with a Dimensional and use SNAIL or a Mini Glue Dot for the others. The choice is yours. Whichever you choose, just have fun! Make several cards at one time so you’ll have one ‘at the ready’ when you need a last minute card.
