Well, it’s not exactly ‘later today’ as I promised in this post; rather it’s two days later. But I was also gone for six hours on that tour to the Apple Store. Hour and a half drive, two hours there, and hour and a half drive home plus a stop at the pet food store.
I finished my cards yesterday, Tuesday the 9th. I foresee lots of possibilities with this Mediterranean Moments stamp set.
By the way, this stamp set was inspired by Susan Nygaard, one of Stampin’ Up!’s million dollar sales achievers. That’s one of the perks of that achievement—a stamp set created just for you. At my present rate I should reach that mark in about forty years. I’ll be thinking about what I’d like my stamp set to look like in the meantime. I’m thinking phone boxes and abbeys.
I used the masking technique on this card.
- Stamp your image on card stock
- Stamp image again on computer paper or a sticky note and cut it out
- Place sticky note image over card stock image
- Finally, ink up brick image and stamp over the sticky note covered image
- Remove sticky note
- Amazing! The chair with the cat are in front of the wall.
Tomorrow I’ll show you the next two cards made with Mediterranean Moments. In the meantime, check out the stamp set here and think about making it your own. You don’t have to color the images. I did on this first go-round but the next group won’t be colored in–or they won’t be colored in entirely. Remember also that the set is available in both wood and clear mount.
