You can purchase both the Foxy Friends Stamp Set and the Fox Builder Punch as a Bundle: 142326, save 10% on both.
Not only can the set be used for fun cards, it can be used to ‘transport’ candy! Herseys Nuggets.
Here are some tips and guidelines for making these cute — and easy — forest friends.
Check out these layouts, one for positioning the stamps for easy punching, the other for the triangular nugget holder and base for the images.
The torso of the animal can be easily punched when stamped as shown in the photo.
Slide the head into the punch and punch it out.
Slide the stamped tail in from the other side of the punch.
Here are the six punched pieces you’ll need plus the base which you’ll fold on the score lines.
Apply Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to one end of the scored piece and form a triangle. Hold in position for a few seconds so the glue penetrates the card stock.
After forming the triangle, attach the torso, also using the liquid glue.
Place some glue on the ‘neck’ area and attach the head.
Punch another set of images: torso, head and tail. Attach the two tail layers to each other.
Attach the unstamped torso to the back of the nugget holder.
Attach the head (same glue) to the back of the stamped head, allowing it to curve a bit to sit just right. Check the front to make sure the back piece doesn’t show.
Place some glue on the FRONT of the tail and attach it to the front of triangle base.
Finished nugget holder.
Gently insert the Hershey’s nugget.
Push nugget all the way through the base being careful with the tail.
The Tempting Turquoise ‘classroom fox’ joins his pals.
Today I’ll be adding a reindeer, skunk and a few others. Caution: these are addictive and I have a huge bag of Hershey’s nuggets. Don’t forget, you can purchase either the Foxy Friends photopolymer stamp setor the Fox Builder Punchor combine them in a bundle and save 10% on the pair. Just click on any of the red words to be taken directly to my Stampin’ Up! store. And then, if you have any questions, please be sure to send me an email (blythe@stampingwithblythe.com) and ask! I’ll answer. 🙂
