FABULOUS 6″ X 6″ DESIGNER SERIES PAPER STORAGE

This definitely seems to be my week for Designer Series Papers.  I think you’re going to love this one!

My friend and Stampin’ Up! customer, Connie, came by yesterday to pick up an order, look at some things I had made, and show me a great storage idea she had come up with.  Out came my camera when I saw it!

Connie had purchased a bunch of retired Designer Series Papers at my recent new catalog open house and wanted a tidy way to store at least some of it.  Check this out!

Connie's DSP storage box
Connie carefully cut up DSP pieces into 6″ squares and sorted them by the name of the grouping.

Now have a look inside behind the tabs!

Connie's DSP box - dividers
If she had the packaging information she cut the information corner into a 6″ square and placed it in front of her DSP pieces.  And she stapled a punched tab onto each one.  By the time I talk to her next, she’ll have the DSP names written on those punched tabs.

If she didn’t have the package information she found the DSP in retired catalogs that she has kept and hand wrote the SU! colors used in the paper pack.

Now Connie has quick and tidy access to her DSP squares.  This is proof to me that necessity (or a need for tidy storage) is indeed the mother of invention.

What do YOU think about this box?  Obviously I think it’s great!  Please leave a comment so Connie can see how brilliant she is!

See you tomorrow.  One of the posts will show you how I store my Designer Series Paper packs.  Have a great day!
