I have been barking like a seal (coughing) for 4 days now and it’s knocked me o-u-t. Finally today I am vertical and ready to be creative once again. If you happen to get this particular ‘crud’ pay attention to it and hit the couch and let ‘whoever’ wait on you. Your body needs it.
I wanted to share this cute Valentine treat before I started barking but just couldn’t get it done. I’m making a bunch of these to share randomly like I did at Christmas time with my Foot & Hand Peppermint Scrub. And the good thing? These are smaller and easier to carry a little stash in my purse or shopping bag.
This little treat couldn’t be much easier:
SUPPLIES:
- STAMPS: Tags 4 You (carried over from the 2013 Holiday Catalog)
- CARD STOCK: Whisper White, Silver Glimmer Paper
- INK: Real Red
- TOOLS: Punches: Label Bracket, 1-1/4″ scallop circle, Dimensionals
- EMBELLISHMENTS: Pink Pirouette 3/8″ Taffeta Ribbon, 1″ x 8″ Cello Bag
- OTHER: stapler, Valentine M&Ms
TIP: Staple the ribbon to the Silver punched scalloped circle and also the filled and closed Cello Bag. Then attach the Happy Heart punched piece with a Dimensional.
Let me know if you make some of these and then if you share them in random acts of kindness to………..the grocery checker, the bagger, the bank teller, the person next to you in line, the post office clerk, the doctor’s office staff……….. I think you get the idea. I had a great time surprising people at Christmas and the little effort of making these Valentine treats will be well worth the big smiles of pleasure you’ll get when sharing them! Go ahead, make someone’s day!
I made these last year with my granddaughter for her school class and had several leftover for ME! It was a lot of fun to drop them by here and there and see the glee of the recipients!!
Awesome. They’re cute, fun , easy and share some sunshine. ~Blythe
