DELICATE ORNAMENTS CORNER PUNCHED CHRISTMAS CARD

Today I’m sharing another card from the September downline meeting I attended.  I live 150+ miles from most of my downline so I don’t actually hold monthly meetings.  But—one of my downline does hold meetings and when I’m in San Jose (CA) I get the opportunity to attend.  Occasionally, I even participate in the swaps via USPS.  That’s what I did for the September gathering.  There were some lovely cards!  And this is just one more of them:

This card pretty much speaks for itself……no tricks or moves that are unseen.

Cutting instructions:

  • Whisper White 8-1/2″ x 11″ Thick Cardstock:  8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″ and folded
  • Real Red card stock: 5-1/4″ x 4″ plus a 3-1/2″ square scrap
  • Whisper White card stock:  5-1/8″ x 3-7/8″ plus a 5-1/2″ x 4″ scrap for die cutting the ornaments

The Real Red/Whisper White ornament is attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The Whisper White filigree ornaments are attached using the new Fine-Tip Glue Pen.

The corners of the Real Red and Whisper White card stock layers are punched with the Curvy Corner Trio Punch before being attached to each other or to the card front.

To keep the card current, I would substitute the retired Real Red 1/4″ Grosgrain Ribbon with the Real Red 1/8″ Stripe Ribbon.

Now, it’s your turn to go make a few ornament cards.  How about switching out the Real Card base of the ornament with some Designer Series Paper?  How about adding a greeting to the card front?  There are so many options.  Totally change the colors.  Just go for it!
