Do you like just a splash or plop of grunge on some of your cards? Well, I do. Not always but sometimes it adds just the right casualness or randomness. When I first saw the Timeless Textures stamp set in Brussels last November at Stampin’ Up!’s On Stage event I thought: “Aha, that stamp set is for me!” I especially like the floral-ish image in the bottom right corner.
Have I used Timeless Textures before today’s post? Well…………no. I’m sure I’m not alone in not using a “had to have it now” stamp set! But I do love it and vow to use it more often now that I’ve made the plunge.
I used Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe Classic Inks on my cards. All three colors are 2015-2017 In Colors.

Card stock cutting measurements, in the order they are layered:
- Whisper White: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″ and folded
- Mint Macaron: 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″
- Whisper White: 5-1/4″ x 4″
TIP: When using Aqua Painters it’s best to use Watercolor Paper. But I couldn’t locate mine!!! If you are then using Whisper White as I did, just be gentle with the Aqua Painter. The paper will curl a bit when wet but it will flatten out when dry.
TIP: I used the Clear Wink of Stella on the wood Celebrate Expressions Element before gluing it to the card front.
If you have any questions, please ask. And make yourself proud by using a so far purchased but unused stamp. Share it with us too if you would! Knowing it’s no longer an ‘impulsive wasted purchase’ I’m pleased knowing I finally used my Timeless Textures stamp set!
