Wow! When there’s “weather” in my area, time can just fly. I’m sorry I’ve been a.w.o.l. for a few days! Here is another of the fun and beautiful boxes I promised you a few days ago.
For this box I kept the sides solid, no die cut-outs, and then stamped them with the little flower from the Window Shopping stamp set. I used Pool Party Classic Ink on the Pool Party cardstock.
Above: Then I cut out slats placing the die in two positions, running it through the Big Shot twice. I can’t put my fingers on my dies right now. I’m doing some renovating in my stamp room and it’s an amazing mess right now. I’ll send the how-to diagram as soon as I un-bury the thinlits.
Finally I punched out three flowers with the sweet and simple Pansy Punch. The centers were punched out using the Blossom Bunch punch, the smallest image. I curled the petals, using my Bone Folder, just as you would when curling ribbon for a package. I attached the flowers to the box using Dimensionals and attached the centers using Mini Glue Dots.
The ribbon is from Sale-a-Bration: 3/8″ Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack. You can earn this duo pack by placing a $50 order (before tax/shipping of course) from any Stampin’ Up! Catalog.
The oval tag is another of the dies found in the Window Box Thinlits Dies. For the greeting I used Pool Party and Melon Mambo Classic inks. I tapped the image words on the Pool Party pad and the heart on the Melon Mambo pad. I tied it on to the Metallic Ribbon using a 6″ piece of Crushed Curry Baker’s Twine.
What you place inside this little box is up to you, your need, your imagination and its size. A dinosaur won’t work!
These are the products I used. The window shopping bundle is also available in wood mount.

These boxes are just as cute as they can be and I highly recommend this bundle. All links on this page will take you directly to my Stampin’ Up! Online Store. When you place your order be sure to use the February Host Code, XKNCWCYX. At the end of the month I’ll be sending an exclusive tutorial to all code users. If your online order is more than $150 don’t use the code. Just redeem you own hostess benefits. If you have questions, send me an email, blythe@stampingwithblythe.com and I’ll get right back to you. Stamp happy!
Here’s the current ‘reality’ in my stampin’ studio. Tomorrow will show a lot of progress!
