TUESDAY WAS "LOOK AT THIS PROGRESS" DAY - Blythe Klipple, Stamping With Blythe

WOW! Yesterday (Tuesday) was a hugely productive day and I can see some stamping in my future. I have a bunch of photos to show and explain the progress. I’m just so excited to see some real changes!

painting cabinet doors — Russ is painting the edges of the 12 cabinet doors in the driveway.

TV shelf in place. We’ll be tidying up the very black cords in the next few days.

My new Craig's List desk (Pottery Barn) find! — My new Craig’s List desk (Pottery Barn) find out of the back end of my car and installed just where I wanted it—under the big window.

Russ painting back to door into my stamp room — Russ removed the door going into my stampin’ studio and painted it “color #3” in his painting studio–the driveway! The photo is taken from the dormer window in the studio.

Studio door back in place — Door jam painted the same white as the cabinet doors and the door is back in place.

Rescued shelves get a new paint job — This homemade shelving unit was rescued from destruction about 10 years ago. It was ready for a fresh paint job.

All done with paint job — All done and ready to go back to work holding bit and pieces related to the Big Shot

Stampin' studio is starting to come back together — I’m finally starting to put things where I think I want them to be. Nothing will come back into the room that isn’t useful and “logical”. And clean of 10 years of dust.

Next steps are bringing in more and more of the components that will allow me to s-t-a-m-p. What isn’t useful will be dumped or donated. It’s getting to the really exciting stage now. And my days are still a quick and easy 12-14 hours of concentration and diligence. And PROGRESS! Yes, it’s definitely going to be worth it. By the way, the sun really plays tricks on the colors used in the room: gray, white and a light teal. I’ll give you the paint-can-label-names tomorrow.

One more thing–I ordered 3 “cubes” from Ikea today as bases for my new work table. Woohoo!!! They’ll arrive while I’m at Stampin’ Up!’s annual convention in Salt Lake City next week. My goal is to have the deck cleared off by Saturday afternoon.
