REALITY IS DRAWING NEARER IN THE METAMORPHOSIS OF MY STAMPIN’ STUDIO

The painting is (almost) all done and most storage bins are in place.  Yesterday I started putting the proverbial ‘stuff’ in the drawers.  Today I had two large (file type) Elfa drawers to purge before I allowed my self to put them in the Elfa rack.  I had ideas, patterns and samples from 2000 (don’t read this Andrea!)!  Most are now in the recycle bin.

Tomorrow (Friday–which is today when you read this) we can look at what’s left on the deck.  I need to find homes for a lot of stuff yet!  I’m leaving town on Sunday, heading for Salt Lake City, via Kanab, Utah for Stampin’ Up!’s annual convention.

I took a quick time out this afternoon for my monthly Stamping at the Library gathering.  Third Thursday of the month, $3, no experience necessary, 1-3 p.m.  If you’re ever in the area, come on up to Mi Wuk Village and join us!!!  The library is between the Mi-Wok Ranger Station and the Mi Wuk Post Office.  We made 2 pretty-much-c.a.s.e.d-cards this month.  That means, in the middle of my mess making, I borrowed the ideas from Pinterest.  It was fun to cut paper, run the Big Shot and stamp.

Wild about Flowers (138728, $21.00)We lighted rubbed over the SIZZIX raised side (inside) of the Bricks Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with the Sahara Sand Classic ink pad and then ran Whisper White card stock through the Big Shot.  The stems from the Wild about Flowers stamp set were stamped using Old Olive classic ink and the flowers were stamped using Melon Mambo classic ink.

I swiped the 2-1/4″ x 4″ piece of Whisper White card stock over the Sahara Sand stamp pad to make a little differentiation between the flower layer and the brick wall.  A piece of 5/8″ Organza Ribbon was wrapped around the stamped layer, tied in a knot and then mounted to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Build a Birthday (138646, $16.00)
It’s fun to stamp the ‘look’ of Washi Tape.

Card #2 used all 5 of the 2015-2017 In Colors.  The 5 sequins were gently pulled from the end of the roll of Sequin Trim and they were attached to the stamped card front with the 2-Way Glue Pen.  The Gold 1/8″ ribbon bow was attached with a Mini Glue Dot.  The stamped layer was attached to the card front with Dimensionals.

If you’d like to purchase any of the products used in today’s cards I’d love it if you’d call or email me or just go directly to my Stampin’ Up! store and ‘serve yourself’.  If your order is under $150 please select the open workshop and use this Hostess CodeGP3QAAEU    And if your order happens to be over $150, go for it and be your own hostess, earning your own benefits.  At the end of the month I’ll randomly select one online order placed during the month of July and that person will receive the benefits for the month.

I wish you a great day.  Thanks so much for stopping by.
