Traveling Definitely Doesn’t Mean Time for Stamping!

I’ll be returning to my home, my hubby and my stamping loft later today after a week’s adventure to Boise Idaho.  I feel as if it’s been a month since I’ve put ink to paper with a rubber stamp!  Travel definitely doesn’t mean time for stamping!

I did have the great pleasure of attending my upline’s downline meeting in Boise.  We created a card (from a project kit) and swapped cards and ideas.  It was great meeting a few of my sideline stampin’ sisters.

We had name tags but all I remember for sure is Marion (second from left) and Cass, right. Yes I should remember the other two but I’m just not sure. Argh.

This is my awesome upline Debra Godfrey of Boise, ID.  Our meeting was at a pizza parlor that is at one end of the school building where my daughter teaches high school French. Sage International.

Have you checked out the two card kits in the Occasions catalog?  Pages 20 and 21.  The first one, Made to Bloom All-Inclusive Card Kit, is designed for the newer stamper and is simpler to complete:

The second, Incredible Like You Project Kit,  is a bit more intricate but still not too time consuming.  Both kits have fabulous cases for keeping or gifting the finished cards.  The clear box for the All Inclusive Kit has gold filigree type preprinted images all over.

The box for the Incredible Like You Project Kit is opaque with a lovely printed accent on the upper left.  This kit coordinates with the Incredible Like You stamp set.

Both kits are eye catching and useful.

Here I’m all set up to make the ‘amazing’ card:

Come back tomorrow for some of the Occasions and Sale-a-Bration swap cards I got while in Boise.  I have to say that traveling definitely doesn’t mean time for stamping!  But it was great fun to attend a stamping gathering, swap and see a lot of new ideas.  Now that I’m home I plan to get back to my own creativity.  Tomorrow.  (….after I unpack and put our Christmas decorations away!)
