This Tuscan Vineyard brought me serenity and a smile the first time I saw it in the 2016-2017 Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalog. It can bring to mind the Napa/Sonoma Valleys of northern California or European vineyards along the Rhine River or farther south in Italy and France. So pastoral and serene.
I made this card when I first got the stamp set:
Yesterday’s update:
Rather than Sahara Sand Classic Ink, I used Crumb Cake ink for the background images. I also used the new Stampin’ Blends (2018 Occasions Catalog) for coloring in the vineyard scene.

The stamp set comes in both wood mount and clear mount. And finally my last card for today:
This card is for one of my best friends. She and they have been there for me and my family over many years and this pastoral scene reminds me of them. The olive tree branch was fussy cut using my lovely Paper Snips.
And the rough edges were created with my thumb nail. For some reason I think this card calls for the bit of added texture. The little crumb cake layer is 2″ wide x 4″ long. Very Vanilla layer is 4″ x 5-1/4″. And the card base is 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″ and folded in half. Did you know……..After you score your card at 4-1/4″ the **valley** part (indented) of the scoring line goes to the outside of the card, not the *mountain* part. Then burnish it with a Bone Folder.
Since we are now in the months of Sale-A-Bration, you could combine $50 worth of the supplies I used in these cards to earn a Sale-A-Bration set (or more) of your choice. Send me an email, blythe@stampingwithblythe.com, if you’d like some help placing your order. Also, let me know if you need a hard, in-your-hands-copy of the 2018 Occasions Catalog or the Sale-A-Bration Brochure.
