THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO CREATE A PANED WINDOW

There is the long, hard way………..

Have your technical hubby make a ‘4-step jig’ that will help position a square punch in four different positions, with the final product looking like a window.

Window created with a 4-step jig

Then we inserted a photo on the inside of the card:

Blythe & Russ by their tree, 'through' the window
This photo is from about 7-8 years ago when I colored my hair for the first and only time in my life.  In the card we sent out we used the photo of a lighted and snow covered fir tree outside our kitchen window.

And then is the quick and easy way………

Happy Scenes + Hearth & Home Thinlits Dies
Happy Scenes + Hearth & Home Thinlits Dies

I can’t wait to get my hands on this Hearth & Home window frame Thinlits Die.  I know you’re going to like it as well.  You can stamp an image using the new Happy Scenes stamp set or…….do like we did, and add a photo.

I’ll be sharing some fun samples in the coming weeks.

Now speaking of the Home for the Holidays Holiday Catalog, if you don’t have a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator who will be giving you one, please send me an email (Blythe@StampingWithBlythe.com) and I’ll see that one comes to your door.

By the way, putting my hands on this card was one of the benefits of gutting all hiding places in my stampin’ studio.

Thanks for visiting today.  I hope it’s a good day for you.
