Today’s card will be the last holiday card we make during our Community Center stamping this year. It’s clean and simple, one layer only. And we’re using the early release, delightful and desirable Eden’s Garden collection that includes products from the January–June 2022 Mini Catalog.
I love the simplicity, yet the charm, of today’s card.

One thing not listed in the ingredients above is blue painter’s tape. Very important and easy to use. But it comes with a warning and caveat to its usage. You’ll need a 6″ piece that will be placed on your card front AFTER you adhere it to another piece of paper, remove it, attach it again, removed it again etc. Do this 3-4 times. Why? It removes a large amount of the tackiness of the tape so that it won’t tear/compromise your card front when you remove it after stamping over it, thus ruining your card front. Trust me on this one.
Tips:
- Basic White Thick card stock: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″ and folded in half, creating the card base.
- Place the 5-1/2″ long die from the Eden Dies along the lower edge of the card front and run it through the Stampin’ Emboss & Die Cut Machine.
- Inside the card, attach a 3/4″ x 5-1/2″ strip of Ever Eden DSP (Designer Series Paper) so it shows through the die cut part of the card base.
- Attach the blue painter’s tape across the center of the card front.
- Using Evening Evergreen classic ink, stamp the largest leaf image three times over the painter’s tape, re-inking each time and giving the stamp a 1/4 turn with each stamped impression.
- Use Soft Suede classic ink to stamp three berry branches from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set.
- Use Real Red classic ink to stamp the berries. Take care to note the positioning of the berries.
- Remove the painter’s tape and stamp the Merry Christmas greeting in the blank space using Real Red classic ink.
- Apply Wink of Stella over each of the Real Red berries for added pop and sparkle.
Finished! Don’t forget the sign the back of your card so your lucky recipient will know you created it.
How do you like the Eden’s Garden Collection? I think it’s going to be very versatile and can work for multiple types of cards. Hopefully in a few weeks I’ll be back with totally different cards using these products.
