Stampin’ at the Library on a Wednesday! Card #2

On yesterday’s post I commented on why my regular Thursday Stamping at the Library class was held on a very unusual Wednesday this month.

Here is the second card we made on Wednesday, complete with variations.

Autumn Scarecrow, Cookie Cutter Halloween, 142252

I must confess that once in a while (?!?!) I forget to cut and put into the packet an integral part of the card.  This time I forgot the 5-1/4″ x 4″ Very Vanilla card stock layer.  ARGH!

No worries however.  Just go ahead without it and…….the card looks just fine.  The recipient will be none the wiser!

Autumn scarecrow without Very Vanilla layer

I almost forgot the fixins for the lovely autumn leaf:

Tips for the leaf:  Cut it out using the Big Shot and the appropriate Leaflets Framelit.  The run the die cut leaf through the Big Shot once again, this time using the Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

Close up of Cookie Cutter Builder Punched Scarecrow.  The first time I colored this scarecrow I used my AquaPainter.  It was too wet and the color got ‘soggy’ and faded.  Second try, over the first, was using Blender Pens.  Much more successful.  The crow is fussy cut using Paper Snips.
