I loved the Sheltering Tree stamp set the first time I laid eyes on it in last spring’s 2015 Occasions Catalog. Fortunately the set made it into the new 2015-2016 Annual Catalog.
I’ve been in the process of purging my stampin’ studio and came upon today’s card just as I was looking for a sympathy card. I like its brightness as well as its solemnity and peacefulness.
I’ll tell you right from the get-go, the embellishments and greeting stamp set are not current. But……the butterflies were in the envelope, left over from an earlier class and the words said exactly what I was looking for in the size I needed.
TIPS:
- Crumb Cake card stock: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″
- Soft Sky card stock: 5-1/4″ x 4″.
- Stamp images on Whisper White card stock: 5″ x 3-3/4″
- Using the Big Shot cut out oval from Soft Sky card stock. Tie the 1/4″ Daffodil Delight ribbon piece before attaching the layer to the Whisper White stamped piece.
Retired items that I used: Butterfly Embosslit, the oval paper piercing pack and the Bloom with Hope Hostess set from last year’s catalog.
