I don’t know if you’ve ever participated in a Christmas/Holiday Bazaar but I have for the past several years at our local Community Center. (Boise/Avimor, Idaho) It’s lots of fun but it also requires lots of preparation. And during this prep period my time has not been mine. I’ve been ‘working’ for what seems like weeks to create fun, cute, useful inexpensive items for our event. Now that it’s over it’s time to tidy up my stamping space so I can get ready for the remainder of winter and then spring. But now I want to share some of the goodies I made so here goes:
NOEL Gift Box Quartet
Product ListKissmas Trees
Product ListScalloped Gift Card Box
Product ListSending Cheer Gift Tags
Aren’t these little gift tags so cute? I used scraps of Designer Series Paper from the September-December Mini Catalog and the Sending Cheer Stamp Set. The Basic White card stock is just a hair under 2″ wide and about 4″ high. Mrs. Claus’s glasses came from the Birds Eye View stamp set.
Product ListNovember’s Paper Pumpkin Kit
These charming houses are from the November 2023 Paper Pumpkin kit. I hold a monthly “kit together” at my home where a bunch of us gather to assemble our Paper Pumpkin kits and it’s a totally wonderful experience. Giggles as well as taking care of the assembly business. My houses above are filled will a cello bag, included in the kit, and candy kisses and chocolate nuggets.
Clever Little Gift Boxes
Well…..I found these oh-so-charming-boxes on a shelf in my stamping closet! From when? Hmmm. Why hadn’t I used them when I purchased them? Hmmm. I was determined to put them together this year. The top, where you see the ends of the twine, opens up. Inside you could add a small gift or gift card or candy…..and then hang them from the tree. I brayed the box and stamped my images before folding it. (neak bit of info……the brayer is coming back in the January-April 2024 Mini catalog!)
Product ListJust tuck your gift card onto that slanted layer and it will POP UP when the recipient opens the box. So cute!
Cute Little Skinny Silver Display Tree
This little tree got to display all my little ‘odds ‘n’ ends’ boxes and treats, some new, some old. Among the “new” were the skinny candy holding treat holders with the tag-punched tops. Two inches wide (j-u-s-t short of 2″), eight-ish inches long, various remnants of this season’s holiday Designer Series Papers, tops folded together and punched, and finally two Hershey’s Nuggets placed inside….with a bit of glue to keep them in place.
Product ListI hope you’ve enjoyed my little Christmas Bazaar display. Next year it will be different. I’m not quite sure how, but different. My concentration this year was on small items. If you have any questions or need more ‘how-to’ directions please ask in the comment section below.
As it seems to go with many things technical these days, I have lost/mis-placed/just can’t find, my signature block. Sooooo frustrating. For now, happy stamping, many thanks for stopping by and I’ll be back real soon. If you’re looking for some stamping supplies, pop on over to my Stampin’ Up! store. TOMORROW, DECEMBER 14th, is a FREE SHIPPING DAY so don’t miss out. Orders must be started and completed on the 14th. So if you, like me, have an order started, start it again on the 14th and then delete the one you just copied.
