It’s always fun to stamp with friends and today is even extra special. It’s World Card Making Day and my stamping friends from the US and Canada, to the UK, Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Austria, to Japan, and to the South Pacific lands of New Zealand and Australia……..we’ll all be holding special stamping events today in our respective time zones. I want to share our California Make and Takes for World Card Making Day. The seasons are changing and holidays are approaching so I chose to honor Fall and Christmas.
New and old friends:
Had it not been for Stampin’ Up! I would never have gone to Brussels and would never have either met or reinforced friendships with our European Demos whom I originally got to meet in Salt Lake City. And it was so much fun to ‘run into’ Utah Stampin’ Up! employees in the central square (restaurants and shops and tourists!) in the heart of Brussells.
Now back to today’s post: In case you’re wondering what a Make and Take is, it’s normally a card that has been pre-designed, with supplies pre-cut, that each individual makes and then takes home with them. They have not only two cards that are ready to share with a recipient of their choice but the maker also has a new layout idea and a new idea for ways to use particular stamping supplies.
I also have 15 grab/gift bags with 10 hand-stamped cards in each for anyone who places a stamping order of $50 or more. These cards are from classes, projects and swaps from past years and the current year. I really, really, really had to clear some space so this is a win-win for all of us. Thanks to those who attended. Thanks to those who placed an order. Thanks to those who came to see some great new products from the 2018 Holiday Catalog.
I hope you’ve enjoyed the Make and Takes for World Card Making Day as well as ‘meeting’ some of my international stamping friends. It’s going to be a fun day.
