This little piggy believed she could is the theme of today’s card. Have you ever needed a card for someone who has been working on something for a long time? Someone who believed in herself and finally achieved a goal? Well, this is the card to say that you’ve noticed their achievement.
This was just about the easiest of the This Little Piggy series of cards I’ve been working on the last few days. On a Whisper White piece of card stock, stamp the flying pig using Memento Ink. Then add an odd (as opposed to even) number of clouds using Soft Sky Classic ink. Also using the Soft Sky Classic ink and a Sponge Dauber, add some color to the sky area. Finally, using the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush, color in the clouds. Twice.
For a little dimensional interest, I stamped the wings a second time on a piece of Whisper White scrap, colored them, and then fussy cut them with my Paper Snips. I attached them to the card front using a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Inside the card, stamp the …so she did image.
Card front measurements:
- Soft Sky card stock card base: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″, folded, burnishing the crease with the Bone Folder
- Pink Pirouette layer: 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″
- Whisper White layer: 5-1/4″ x 4″
Now I’m feeling like a this little piggy believed she could… And…so she (I) did. It might have taken several months but I finally got my bunch of little piggy cards created and it feels great. I still have two more to share. If you need any supplies for this card, just click on the links above to go straight to my Stampin’ Up! online store.
