OOOPS!
Well all is not not lost!
First, rinse your pad that is no longer the right color with cold/warmish running water until it runs clear.
Second, blot it with paper towels until you get no more dampness on your paper towel. Or, turn it upside down and let it rest until it’s dry.
Third, re-ink with the proper color. It might take quite a bit of ink but you will have saved your pad. Purchasing an ink refill ($2.95) is less expensive than purchasing a new classic ink pad ($5.95).
And then you’re back in business!
