Yes, that’s true, our life is Always an Adventure, not always necessarily what we might expect it to be. We live at about 46oo’ elevation in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of Central Northern California. If it’s not pine needles to rake or tree mortality or a check engine light on one of our vehicles it’s a misplaced week whacker. These are the adventures of this past week.
When I saw this camping adventure stamp set with coordinating framelits I knew immediately that it would be mine. We camp. We live in the mountains. We get snow. And I love framelits! This entire card was made with the help of the framelits! Except for the greeting which was embossed in Stampin’ Up!’s news Copper Embossing Powder. Love it!

My son and his family are visiting for the weekend–both Father’s Day and son Jason’s birthday. Here’s an example of why I think he’s such a great dad:
His son Zion broke his leg (!) the last week of his first grade in school. Great green cast up to mid-thigh. The kid has really learned how to get around, on his crutches as well as hopping. Stairs are not an issue.
Happy Father’s Day to all you great dads out there.
