Good Morning Magnolia Alternative

Today’s Good Morning Magnolia alternative is a totally simple change up to the Cracked Glass Technique card I shared the other day.  You can check it out here.  Coloring with Stamping’ Blends (page 179 in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog) is a lovely gentle way to color in such a large strong image.  The final step would be to add the greeting of your choice.  Or add no greeting at all.

Good Morning Magnolia
Apply the darker tone of a Stampin’ Blends, usually on lines on the stamped image and then smooth it out with the lighter tone. Try like crazy to leave a few little white spaces for effect.

Another Stampin’ Blends tip is to use a very light touch with the marker. Don’t push down for a darker image. Rather, gently stroke your ‘line’ over and over several times.

Have you used the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set yet?  There is a magnificent Magnolia Lane Suite of products shown on pages 36-39 in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog which includes stamps, framelits, a gorgeous (almost stand-alone) embossing folder, ribbons, cork embellishments, Stampin’ Blends and awesome Designer Series Paper to choose from.  You can also save 10% on the Good Morning Magnolia Bundle (stamp set and dies)!
