FINAL BIT FROM AUXILIARY FASHION SHOW & MY DIGITAL STUDIO

There was a great turnout at our Mi Wuk Sugar Pine Fire Auxiliary Fashion Show earlier this afternoon and I want to share two bits as earlier promised.

My donation items, all fluffled up:

Fashion Show Donation Gift BasketHmmmmm.  I don’t see the coupon I also offered for a free class for 5 people.  I sure hope it’s under the cellophane somewhere.

Here’s the program on my friend Linda’s ‘table-for-eight’ where she used her grandmother’s English china.   Various auxiliary members took on decorating a table.  I’m thinking of maybe offering a stampin’ table next year!  Wouldn’t that be fun?

One of our last minute models was Nacho, an intern fire fighter, who was ‘volunteered’ into wearing the ‘turn-out gear’ that was paid for by the Fire Auxiliary’s fund raising efforts.

This is the gear they hop into when jumping on board a fire truck. He did a lovely job of turning this way and that so we could admire the gear from all sides.

As Nacho was leaving the stage there was a $$ bill waving in the air, wanting to be placed in his fire hat.  The place fell apart with laughter and delight.

JoAnne put a bill of some denomination into Nacho’s helmet!

Tomorrow life returns to some sort of normalcy and I hope to stamp!  So much to do.  I hope your day is as pleasant as our weather is.
