There is so little we can do to support Ukraine but it is possible to honor the country and her people by wearing today’s small token of awareness and honor for this horrendously victimized country: a small paper heart with three tear drops.
My goal was to create a banner or flag or image using Stampin’ Up! colors that were are close those of the Ukrainian flag. After quite a bit of thought I decided upon using the larger heart from the Bouquet of Love Dies, Pacific Point and Daffodil Delight card stocks.

You’ll need a 3″ x 3″ piece of Pacific Point and a 3-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ piece of Daffodil Delight card stocks. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue (aka ‘green glue’) to attach the Daffodil Delight piece to the bottom of the Pacific Point piece of card stock.
Die cut the layered pieced using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the larger heart from the Bouquet of Love Dies.
Attach three Night of Navy rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels collection, to the blue upper layer of card stock as if they are tears–which is exactly what they are representing.
I have been attaching my “heart” to my tee-shirt or top with a ‘clip’. Next venture out to a craft store I’ll be looking for small “paired magnets” so I can glue one securely to the back side of the heart and place the other on the inside of my tee shirt or top to hold it in place.

We need to offer whatever kind of support we can. My heart is broken with the inhumanity of this event and this is my small way of supporting the Ukranian people. They’ll most likely never see it but perhaps this bit of positive energy will help somehow.
