I’m away from home today, in Dublin CA, ready for this afternoon’s Occasions Catalog Kickoff event, a demonstrator only (another PERK!) event. Demonstrators will get a preview of January’s new and legendarily fabulous Occasions Catalog. As a bonus we also get to see (and take home) the 2014 Sale-a-Bration brochure. Details to come as we are allowed to ‘leak’ them!
Wish me luck with my ‘prize patrol’ wristband. Today I will be a winner! Historically you don’t want to have the same color wristband that I have but today I know I’ll be a winner. Positive thinking. What’s Prize Patrol you ask? A colored/patterned wristband is selected and shown on a jumbo screen and those demonstrators holding that color ribbon win a prize from Stampin’ Up!. It’s usually a new item: stamp set, designer series paper, ribbon, accessory. Whatever it is, it’s something new and exciting. Yes, we become just like screaming children at Prize Patrol time.
