I was feeling a little unsettled with the ‘final’ look of the trays for my Countdown to Christmas cubes which I shared here originally.
The area for decoration on the plain tray is only a half inch high so here’s what I ended up doing:
I added a 1/4″ strip of Glimmer Paper (varying colors) encircling the tray, attached with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. It’s a small but very satisfying improvement.
I hope you’ve chosen to make a set or two of these. They’re so easy. Semi quick. The most time consuming part is attaching the numbers and then the 1/4″ strip of glimmer paper. The boxes are 3″ cubes so the Designer Series Papers were cut to 2-7/8″ squares and attached with either the Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fast Fuse. Click on any of the supplies below to be taken directly to my Stampin’ Up! online store. Have fun! Questions? Just ask me.
