If you haven’t heard or experienced an issue with ordering Stampin’ Up!’s Blendabilities in the last few days, here’s the scoop:
The manufacturer of our Blendabilities has issued a product recall! That has required Stampin’ Up! to shut off the ordering capability for all of us. Why was the recall issued? It is a product quality issue–the Blendabilities are arriving at our homes either dry or they are going dry way too soon. It’s definitely not a lack of availability.
If you have Blendabilities as a backordered item, the order will not be fulfilled. You may either request a refund or or select an alternative product. You’ll need to have your order number at the ready, as well as the replacement product number. The best way to handle this is to call your Demonstrator who should know what move to make first. If you have an as yet unopened recently (last 90 days) box of Blendabilities, it can be returned.
I have to be honest and tell you that this just breaks my heart for Stampin’ Up! as this is a wildly popular item that has been promoted and used in so many ways. I can’t imagine the nightmare that’s occurring at the home office.
Stampin’ Up! will have more information next Tuesday. Stampin’ Up! is always up front with us on product issues as they are aware of them and as they are doing their best to correct them.
If you have Blendabilities that you’ve had for awhile, certainly continue to use them. I don’t know if I’m lucky or what but I’ve had only ONE Blendabilities marker be dry–one of the Crumb Cake assortment. It was replaced immediately, no question. I only wish I was more artistic (i.e. brave) with them. 🙂
Be sure to email me with your questions and I will answer just as soon as possible. I know this is a frustrating issue but Stampin’ Up! is ‘manning up’ and handling it with as much dignity and integrity as possible. I will be checking my customer’s backorders and contacting them within the next few days.
Stay tuned next for the Sale-a-Bration item of the week and this week’s deals.
