Above the Clouds

Our second ‘teenager’ card used the Above the Clouds stamp set, and seeing the greetings these kids chose for their cards leads me to believe there is a good future ahead with this generation.

This was my sample card:

Again, I loved how they just took creativity by the hand and went off with their own interpretations of the sample card. ย They loved the coordinating punch and the new-to-them use of Dimensionals. ย I was especially impressed with the thoughtfulness that went into their choice of the greetings in the stamp set. ย I underestimated their sensitivity.

I’d love it if you could remind me of the movie that has recently come out with the clown and the red balloon. ย Kaya popped the image up on her phone and quickly sketched, with a pencil, the clown and its frilly collar. ย Then she colored it over using a Basic Black Stampin’ Marker.

Inside…an image esoteric to the movie. ย There’s a connection between the character in yellow and the red balloon above its head.

The group was far higher above the clouds than I had dared to imagine they would be. ย LOVE IT and LOVE THEM!!
