What is Paper Pumpkin? Paper Pumpkin is Stampin’ Up!’s monthly One-Stop Box™ that offers a unique variety of paper projects for subscribers of any skill level to enjoy! These thoughtfully-themed and all-inclusive craft kits encourage you to explore your creativity, try new techniques, and discover the fun of paper crafting. Grab a friend and block an hour or two to sit and craft and chat, laugh and enjoy! Instructions are included in each kit. There’s also a short introductory video to watch on line for each month’s kit. Right now the video (all of 35 seconds!) is telling you about the FREEBIES tossed in with March’s kit. Wow! Fun! After the kit has been mailed out there will be another video walking you through the rest of the bits and pieces. I’ll keep you updated on its arrival online. There are also plenty of shared ideas on Facebook Paper Pumpkin pages such as Paper Pumpkin Fan Club. I do think you have to request to join but there are over 28,000 members so I don’t think that will be an issue. Also check out Stampin’ Up!’s Paper Pumpkin page: @paperpumpkinbystampinup and just sign up! Additionally, I’ll have my kit which I’ll share online.
Here’s a benefit of Paper Pumpkin: With a monthly Paper Pumpkin craft subscription box, you’ll save time and money and space . . . and eventually build a collection of versatile Stampin’ Up! crafting supplies that you can store in a small space. Here’s what’s coming in March—which is frighteningly almost already here!
I love the sun-shiny, adventurous, outdoorsy box. (Insider info that’s not really a secret: Stampin’ Up!’s artistic creative team starts planning a kit 18-24 months before we ever see it!)
The carefully-chosen components of each Paper Pumpkin kit highlight the versatility and coordination that Stampin’ Up! products provide! It’s an easy and exciting way to stock up on supplies (photopolymer stamps, ink cubes, embellishments)—and create small-batch projects for occasions of any kind.

I’ve seen the Paper Pumpkin kits improve and expand over the years. Plan from the beginning to save the ‘tools’ from each month’s kit. You can save them in the monthly boxes or, better yet, in one container so those bits and pieces will be in one easily reachable spot. Those tools include Ink Spots (a 1″ cube of a different color each month). This is a great way to accumulate Stampin’ Up! ink pads in miniature. And they can be re-inked as needed. We can talk about that later. Also, each kit will contain a photopolymer stamp set! Words. Images. And more. You’ll also be getting embellishments of all kinds: 3-d enamel shapes, twine, ribbon and again, more.
The best part of the kits is that you’ll never know exactly what’s in them. Stamping’ Up! is starting to offer a hint during the sign up time which always ends on the 10th of the month just before the kit/s will be mailed. (Soooo, order your kit by March 10, 2021!) There are several ways to sign up for kits. Personally, I have a recurring subscription which means I get charged for my kit each month. Between the 11th of the previous month and the 10th of current (mailing of kit) month, I can choose to receive more than my normal one kit. It’s up to me to then remember to return to my normal 1 or 2 kits or however many I choose to receive before the next shipping date. The cost of each kit, which includes shipping, is $22. You can subscribe here via my personal Stampin’ Up! subscription site or click on one of the images in today’s post.
You can choose a subscription of 3 month, 6 months or 12 months, prepaid and you can give gift subscriptions. My neighbor and her daughter (who received her Paper Pumpkin subscription for Christmas) who lives about 2 hours away, plan a Zoom party with each other every month and work on their kits together. Occasionally they manage to work out ‘in-person stamping time’ as well. You can always ‘up’ the numbers of kits you receive if one really grabs your heart or eye when you see the promo. You can also postpone a monthly kit if you’ll be on vacation or have some other reason you aren’t able to receive it. It’s up to you to monitor your deliveries. I can help walk you through that when/if the time comes to do so.
I do hope you decide to check out Paper Pumpkin. It’s a great surprise to receive in the mail around the middle of the month, usually in a specially designed box. Playtime!!!!!
Thanks for checking in today and I wish you a thoughtful President’s Day and perhaps week off of school. Of course……it probably won’t be much different from previous weeks this strange year. Be safe. Be smart. Be thoughtful. Sigh.
