Wishing You the Best Wedding Card

My oldest granddaughter is getting married in a few weeks and sadly I won’t be able to attend her wedding due to my foot surgery.  But I have made a beautiful card that will be in the mail in just a few days, transporting  ‘me in spirit’ to the Texas wedding.

      • Use Big Shot and flower cluster framelits to die cut these pieces

    • Die cut flower trimmed circle using Floral Framelit die
  • Soft Sea Foam card stock: 5-1/4″ x 4″
    • Attach to inside of card
  • Stamp greeting in circle using Soft Sea Foam Classic ink and immediately sprinkle with Clear Embossing Powder and heat set using Heat Tool.
    • Attach to Soft Sea Foam die cut piece
  • Attach Soft Sea Foam piece to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals
  • Attach Pearl Jewels to center of each Petal Pink flower

Wishing you the Best wedding card

  • Stamp a greeting of your choice that will fit inside the leaf frame image (stamped in Soft Sea Foam)
    • Use coordinating framelit and Big Shot to cut this piece out and attach it to the inside of the card with SNAIL adhesive
    • Confession:  I saw a greeting I liked, typed it up on my computer, shrunk it to a size that would fit inside the framelit and printed it in a shade of green that wouldn’t clash with my card.  Then I stamped the frame around it and die cut it.

Wishing You the Best Wedding Card

  • Using Petal Pink Classic Ink, stamp a flower cluster in the lower left corner of the envelope.  (I avoid naked envelopes whenever possible!)

I can only hope that the love I put into creating this Wishing you the Best wedding card will cover the disappointment I’m feeling in not being able to attend this first wedding of a grandchild.  It’s indeed a milestone.
