By the hairs (no comments please!) on my chinny-chin-chin I made it to my Mi Wuk Library class about half an hour late on Thursday. That brings a huge thank you to Roberta for doing such a fabulous job of getting the first card made (I had left all the supplies plus a printed tutorial) with total control and grace. Long story short for being late: I drove French house guests to Yosemite National Park on Wednesday, spent the night and then drove nearly three hours home after breakfast and depositing them at their new lodging inside the park. Hubby and I return on Saturday to bring them back to our home in Mi Wuk Village.
Now to what we stamped at our monthly Mi Wuk Library/Community Center class gathering yesterday. Roberta guided the group as they made this card:
This is a lovely, quick and easy card that can be used for more than one occasion. My original was created as a thank you card but can also be made as a birthday card. Would you believe that my small stamen piece disappeared from my stamp set. Soooooo sad. It would add a bit more punch to the center of the flowers. But tell me honestly, did you miss that flower center?

If you’re ever in the Sonora CA area on the third Thursday of the month, 1-3 p.m., come on ‘up the hill’ to the Mi Wuk Village Library and join our class. It’s just off of Hwy 108 below the Mi Wok Ranger Station. No reservations. No experience necessary. Just bring a smile. And $3.00 ($2 for supplies and $1 for the library’s fund raising jar).
