Will My Life Ever Slow Down and Let Me Stamp Again?

Gosh, life has been crazy since we started the carpet projectI’m hoping that next week will be mine once more.  In the meantime my husband and I are catching up with household honey-does.  We’ve had to return furniture and décor to three major rooms, purge as much as possible just because it feels good, pressure wash the spindles on our front deck (like over 400 of them) and put baseboards in all rooms.  Just so you know, we haven’t had baseboards for nearly 12 years although I’ve asked for them many times.  My wish is coming true and I’m totally ‘in’ on helping with the job.  Oh yeah, we’ve also had internet and printer (as in none working right now) major issues.  That equals hours on the phone trying to work things out.

In the meantime (there’s has been a meantime???) I’ve placed my first order from the new annual catalog and it will be arriving early next week.  I’m really looking forward to receiving the Jar of Love Bundle, the Swirly Birds Bundle, the Always an Adventure Bundle and the (juicy) Fresh Fruit stamp set.  Yes, it’s always hard to just focus in on one.

Who wouldn’t want to received a warm Jar of LOVE card???  I loved the Jar of Love from the Enjoy the Little Things Project Kit from the 2016 Handmade from the Heart Occasions  Catalog.

Like many, I wasn’t a fan of this spiral-y stamp set when I first saw it. But Wow! I saw some samples and now “I’m a believer!”

I live in the mountains. I camp. I knew from day one I was going to NEED this stamp set.

I saw a yummy, succulent sample made with this Fresh Fruit stamp set at Stampin’ Up!’s Convention in April and I can’t wait to try it!

Doesn’t this display just make your mouth water?

I’m looking forward to sharing some actual hand-stamped-by-Blythe ideas next week!  Today I’m off with this card, to Alameda CA ( 3 hours each way) for the 20th birthday party of my niece Annika.  She’s been in a coma since November 2013 after an AVM (brain bleed) although she is continuously responding to her many therapies.  Hopefully we’ll have her “back” someday.

Shine, It's Your Birthday
Bright and shiny birthday card for Annika.  Yes, all supplies are retired, but birthday greetings never retire!
