My almost youngest grandchild will be thirteen in a few days and I wanted to make a fun and special card for his special day. Mission accomplished.
This card was challenging and fun to create. I went into current as well as retired areas for the components. My primary goal was to emphasize my grandson’s love of his base (guitar) and music in general. And his sense of humor.
I chose the 5″ x 7″ format of the tunnel card because it gave me a bit more room to play and because of it’s larger, stronger size. Hopefully my kiddo will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
The pack of Designer Series Paper, Pattern Party, is awesome. I had overlooked it for at least 6 months since it’s in the back of Stampin’ Up!’s 2021-2022 Annual Catalog, p. 171, as a Host Reward……or as a reward for an individual qualifying order. There are 48 bright and colorful sheets in this mega pack. An extra bonus to me is that the reverse side of each colorful pattern features black/white patterns. As you can see in my card I used most of the black patterns and a few of the colorful ones.

I followed a very clear You Tube video for creating today’s card. I wish I had such a self recorded video to share but……alas……I don’t and I really want to see you attempt a tower card. They’re fun, delightful and addicting!
