As I was watching my evening news and saw the video of a whole ‘herd’ of golden retriever therapy dogs my heart just opened wide again. With pain and with love. I’ll be sending this card to the Pulse Night Club in Orlando and I’d like to suggest that, if it works for you, you send one also. They can use a lot of love.
I made this card for my first Card Buffet that will take place at the end of the month.
This is the card I’ll be sending to the Pulse Night Club today, with colors of the rainbow “stained glass”.
I wish you a peaceful day. Stop for a breath now and then. And hey, go make a card and send it to an unsuspecting recipient. It’s sure to bring a smile!
Your card is gorgeous. May I ask how you got the stained glass effect…cutting each color with the swigglys and laying them inside? Thank you for Sharon
Thank you for your comment Sharon. The card is really easy, although a bit tedious to put together. You have to die cut 6 of those long shapes, one black for the base of the card and then one of each color you intend to place in the open spaces. Attach the black base to the card front, trim off the ends, and then position the little pieces but do NOT glue them yet. Get the color pattern you want first. Some of the shapes look as if they’ll fit in several spots but they really have only one spot per color. Be very care with your adhesive also so it doesn’t squeeze out where you don’t want to see it. I’ll do a step by step post today (August 19, 2016).
