STAMP ACROSS AMERICA PROJECTS, part 1 – KIND KOALA

Making 8 great projects in a two hour period is exhilarating, especially when you’re with friends and some wacky exuberant teachers.

Blythe & Kevin at Stamp Across America
A ‘quiet’ moment with Kevin.

This was the first card I made, designed by Kevin Theesen.

Kind Koala
You’ve just gotta love this cuddly little ‘bear’.
Kind Koala head set on dimensionals
The Kind Koala was stamped a second time and just the head cut out and then added to the card with a Dimensional.

Kevin was Stampin’ Up!‘s FIRST MALE DEMONSTRATOR, signing up in 1996 just weeks before I signed up.  He’s always been a part of my Stampin’ Up! life.  He had a tough go of it at the beginning but was encouraged to hang in there by Shelli Gardner and others.  Aren’t we glad he did!

Kevin and his project
Kevin is terribly shy and reserved. N-O-T.  He does always bring his DRAMA-mine (lower center of photo) with him.  Pronounce that like two words:  drama and mine (as is my book, my drama!)

Tomorrow we’ll move on to Patty Edwards project.  I’ll tell you—this team really worked hard to create an exceptional event!  #CreateInspireShare2014

Thanks for stopping in.  I’ll be back tomorrow with another fun card project.
